Notes

  1. The local tour fee includes an English-speaking tour guide, bus, and entrance fees. It does not include lunch, drinks/bottled water, and tips. If less than ten people sign for the trip, the tour will be cancelled and the fees will be fully refunded. The tickets should be purchased at least two days before the event. No refund will be made once the tickets are purchased.
  2. Because the credit card facility is limited, payment by cash will be the easier way and we strongly recommend it.
  3. All local tours will depart from the lobby of the Galaxy Hotel. Please be there five minutes prior to the departure time.

PT-1 Shanghai-Xi'an-Shanghai

May 18 Morning flight to Xi'an. Guided tour of Shaanxi Provincial Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell Tower. Stay at Purple Mountain Hotel (four-star) or a hotel of the same category.
May 19 Guided tour of Terra Cotta Warriors, Banpo Museum and City Wall. Late afternoon flight from XiĄŻan to Shanghai; transfer back to the Galaxy Hotel or a hotel of the same category. Stay for one night.
May 20 Tour ends after breakfast.

PT-2 Shanghai-Xi'an-Guilin

May 18 Morning flight to Xi'an. Guided tour of Shaanxi Provincial Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell Tower. Stay at Purple Mountain Hotel (four-star) or a hotel of the same category.
May 19 Guided tour of Terra Cotta Warriors, Banpo Museum and City Wall. Evening flight from XiĄŻan to Guilin. Stay at Guanguang Hotel (four-star) or a hotel of the same category for two nights.
May 20 One-day trip on Li River cruise.
May 21 Guided tour of Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill. Tour ends after lunch; return to the hotel.

Notes

  1. The costs for the post-symposium tours include airfare, hotel accommodation, three meals per day, coach, English-speaking guide in local cities, admission to the sightseeing spots mentioned above. It DOES NOT include insurance, tip, overweight luggage (20kg/pax free baggage) and miscellaneous fees (laundry, mini bar, drinks/bottled water, etc). For twin occupancy, the participant should find and indicate his/her own roommate in the booking form. If less than ten people sign up for the trip, the trip will be cancelled and the fees will be fully refunded.
  2. PT-2 participants should book their own air tickets for the flight from Guilin to Hong Kong or any other city they wish to visit.
