Note: Student participants must be full-time students enrolled in universities or equivalent institutions. Postdoctoral participants are regarded as regular participants. Student registration must be accompanied with a copy of student identification card or a letter of verification from a department chairperson or faculty/research advisor and sent with the registration form.

Payment

Payment can be made in the following ways:

1. Credit card:

Only MasterCard, VISA, and American Express will be acceptable. It will be billed in Chinese yuan. Consequently, the amount charged to your account may vary due to the fluctuation in exchange rates. A 4% bank charge will be added to the amount to be billed. To pay in advance, a payment form can be downloaded from the website. Please fill out and sign the form, and fax to the designated fax number. Credit card can also be used for on-site payment.

Please write "ISBC 2008" and the participant's name in the place of "Message".
The bank transfer should be made before May 1, 2008. All bank charges will be borne by the participant. In order to avoid any trouble in money transfer, please do send a copy of your remittance invoice or receipt together with your Registration Form.

3. Bank draft:

The bank draft should be made payable to CICCST/ISBC 2008. As the draft requires a 30-day collection period, it should be received no later than April 10, 2008. Please mail it to: Ms. Xiaoling Yan, CICCST/ISBC2008, 86 Xueyuan Nan Road, Beijing 100081, China. No personal check is acceptable.

4. Cash:

Cash is acceptable for on-site payment.

Note:

If tour fees and/or hotel deposit are included in the bank transfer or bank draft, please calculate the exchange rate between US dollars and Chinese yuan roughly as 1 dollar = 7.1 yuan; or visit the web site of Bank of China at http://www.bank-of-china.com/en/common/service.jsp for more accurate rate. The amount received will be automatically calculated into Chinese yuan by the receiving bank by the exchange rate of the day the money is received.

Cancellation and Refunds

Any change or cancellation must be notified in writing. Refund with remittance charge deducted will be processed after the symposium. The refund policy is given below:
