ICSG HOTEL INFORMATION

The Organizing Committee has secured accommodation for participants at advantageous rates in Beijing Friendship Hotel. Reservations can be made by completing the Registration Form and returning it to CICCST before September 25, 2006. To guarantee the room reservation, a deposit, together with the registration fee, is required. You will receive a confirmation directly from CICCST. The deposit will be forwarded to your hotel and deducted from your account when you check out. The reservation is subject to availability and will be honored on a first-come first-served basis. Any change made to the reservation prior to arrival must be communicated to CICCST, not to the hotel directly.

All room rates quoted here include one breakfast. Additional breakfasts can be purchased when you check in.

Beijing Friendship Hotel

Beijing Friendship Hotel is the largest garden style hotel in Asia. Built in 1954, it covers an area of 335,000 square meters. Its style is of classic elegance with traditional Chinese architecture. It offers a full range of amenities, including a large variety of services, such as restaurants, rooms, business center, fitness room, indoor swimming pool, halls for meetings and symposiums. Beijing Friendship Hotel has 1700 standard rooms, suites, deluxe suites, apartments, and offices equipped with IDD telephone, TV, CNN, air-conditioner, refrigerator, mini-bar, sound system, and internet access.

Internet access is available in each guest room of the hotel. The charge for internet access is: 10 yuan per hour, 50 yuan per 24 hours and 160 yuan per month.

In the Friendship Hotel and surrounding area, shopping and dining out are very convenient. There are 26 restaurants and banquet halls in the Friendship Hotel offering Chinese cuisine of local flavor, Japanese food, South Korean food and western food. Three large department stores - Shuang An Department Store, Modern Plaza and Hua Yu Fashion Shopping Center - are within easy walking distance of the hotel.

There is a Recreation Center in the Friendship Hotel which has in/outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, golf driving range, fitness room, disco, sauna, massage room etc.

Any place in the city is accessible within 30-50 minutes from the hotel, including Beijing Capital International Airport and downtown. After a busy day of meetings, you can take a walk in the surrounding area or relax in nearby department stores, restaurants or other entertainment venues located near to the hotel.
